Janet and Steve's Garden

For anyone who happens to have stumbled across this blog in the hope of finding insights to the meaning of life, serious discourse on matters of great import or any sharp wit, then you've certainly come to the wrong place. This is just a simple diary of one couple's gardening experiences, published so that family and friends can see the garden develop.

Some more photo's

I went out and ran off forty photo's of the garden ...
Don't worry, i'm not about to post them all ... Blogger's struggling to load the photo's anyway, but here are few, without too much explaination, for your delectation.

The side passage ...

Oh dear ... that Acer's looking poorly.

The view from Janet's side of the swing (yes .. we have allotted sides)

A close-up of the Alliums that you can see in the previous photo

My, what a lot of Cannas we've got.

The Choysia at the front, next to the drive

Some Alliums .. we bought them for their leaf form but they didn't do much, so we moved them. Now they're working very nicely.

The Weigela's looking good ... There are three in the front garden and they're all starting to give a lovely display. Hmmmm I wonder if we ought to have one of these in the back garden.

Another one

And another ...

We don't "do" pink ...

Pasque flower seed-heads with the sun behind them ... They look stunning.
